I created my web site with templates. I added a rollover image on the splash to make from Chad O'Donnell to ENTER. Then i had SJC and my blog link on it. On the index I had text links and snap shot links.

Monday
Today we watched a movie.

Today we watched a movie.

Wednesday
Today we finished the movie. Then i touched up my website because Mr D. said i needed to fix it more. Now I'm done and tomorrow he said that he was going to introduce our new assignment. He said it was a HUGE project worth like 30% of our mark or something.

I was sick today

Friday.
Today we started photo advertising. Our product is Arizona iced tea. We took about 50 pictures and only 20 or less are usable.

Journal Week 11

Monday
Today Mr D. assigned us a bunch of questions and stuff. So I did them all and it wasn't fun.

Tuesday

Today Mr D. showed us how to use Dreamweaver (basic understanding). He assigned us a new project to make a website showing all of the thing we have made. Also, i took all of my old project off my old computer and put it on my new one.

Wednesday
Today Mr D. taught us a new thing for dreamweaver which made everything way easier. I made my first page and started my second page. Its due tomorrow and i hope that I can finish.

Thursday
Today I finished my website and showed Mr D.. He said I needed to organize it more so i fixed it and it is way better. I like dreamweaver.

Friday
Today we had a supply but she couldn't start the movie so we just had free tim eon the computer.

Photoshop Questions

What does Resolution mean?
The number of pixels per square inch on a computer-generated display; the greater the resolution, the better the picture

How can you use the crop tool in photo Retouching?
You can resize image, cut unwanted parts of image with crop tool, or cut at some specific proportions you need for purpose of image.

How can you adjust the tonal range of an image?
You can use the black, white, and gray triangles below the Levels command histogram to control the midpoint and where the darkest and lightest points in the image begin, thus extending its tonal range.

What is saturation? How can you adjust it ?
Saturation is the strength, or purity, of color in an image. You can use the Sponge tool to increase the saturation in a specific area of an image.

Why would you use the Unsharp Mack filter on a photo?
The Unsharp Mask filter adjusts the contrast of the edge detail and creates the illusion of a more focused image.

What are the three main components of Photoshop's workspace?
Menus, Toolbox and palettes.

Which menu is used to open and close (or show and hide) palettes?
Window menu.

What keyboard shortcut is used to hide/show all palettes at the same time?
Press the Tab key.

Why is it important to remember and use keyboard shortcuts in Photoshop?
Keyboard shortcuts will allow you to work faster and more productively.

How is tool in the Toolbox selected?
Either by clicking on its button in the Toolbox or by using its keyboard shortcut, which is a one-letter keystroke.

Can palettes be grouped together?
Yes.

Which palette's options change depending on the tool that is active?
Tool Options bar.

What functionality does the Navigator Palette offer in Photoshop?
Navigator Palette allows you view you image at reduced or enlarged sizes and move around your image when magnified.

Journal Week 10

Monday
Today, we got a new topic for our commercial. This time, we went back to cyberbullying and that makes me mad. Also, we took a bunch of shots for the commercial, and we got about 30 minutes of usable/non usable footage.

Tuesday
Today, we had a supply and finished the movie we watched on Friday

Wednesday
Today, we started rendering the clips on imovie and it took all class. Then when Mr D. seen it was on imovie he made us RE-rendering to final cut which was WAY faster.

Thursday
Today Mr D. assigned us a new project. This is a written assignment. He made us copy down questions and we will work on it later. Then our group edited our cyber bullying thing and its coming along nicely.

Friday
Today, we edited our video all day and we are done except we have to add the music.

Halloween Chad

For this assignment i masked black onto my face. Then, I liquefied my face and distorted it to make me look more like a monster. Now that i look back i wish i masked my shirt and hair too, but oh well.

I was sick today.

Wednesday
Today we came up with some interview questions for the students that went to "take your kids to work day". Some questions are "What does your parent do?" and "What did you learn?"

Thursday
Today we made interview questions for Mr Romano. We also started the intro for the "take your kids to work day" video. Also Mr D. showed us how to work a professional studio camera. Then we interviewed the people for the video.

Friday
Today we had a supply teacher and we watch "The Island"
